Yucatan Peninsula Mission
YPM is committed to serving the needs of the Mayan/Mexican people in the Zona Maya region of the Yucatan Peninsula. Incorporated as a not-for-profit in both the US and Mexico, YPM provides opportunities for positive change to children, adults, families, and communities in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico -- through service projects, education, health care, cultural exchange, and spiritual support.
Information
Where:
The base of YPM is located in Leona Vicario, Quintana Roo, Mexico, (about 35 minutes SW of Cancun) and is equipped to host groups of up to 40 people. YPM provides safe and delicious meals, sleeping accommodations in hammocks or beds, and all in-country transportation.

January 21-28, 2025 (Tuesday to Tuesday)

Teaming up with Northminster Presbyterian Church in Peoria, IL
Doing What:
We will be helping with construction more than likely – BUT all levels of experience and ability are welcome!

Cost: ​
YPM Charges $700 This is transportation, lodging, food, materials, etc
Tips are not included for Hosts & Chefs
Airfare $520 - $1000 Roundtrip ticket (depends when booking) looking at United
Extras on You 1 Dinner out; Ice Cream; Snacks; Souvenirs

Typical Week:
Day 1 Travel to YPM
Day 2 - 4 Work Site 9am to 2pm (break for Lunch) ½ Day on Day 3 for celebration
Day 5 Tour University ; Tour Water Treatment Plant
Day 6 Church, Local Fun, Shopping & Dinner out
Day 7 Beach & Shopping
Day 8 Travel Home
